the sweetest gift

IThis year, it's exactly 25 years ago, that the Alabama Country Boys Apeared on stage in Holland. It was on the 16th of May, that Gerard Fuhler and Marinus Snippe performed on stage for the first time. Some 7 years later, Albert Stam was added to the band. In the 25 years of their existence, the Alabama Country Boys have shared the stages among with several American bands and artists as Bob paisley an the Southern Grass, Joe Val & the New England Bluegrass Boys, Bill Grant, Delia Bell as well as Bob Everhard. But also several Dutch bands as 4Wheel Drive, Spruce Pine, Jerrycan and A.G. And Kate. All highlights of their own, but with an absolute highlight, the performance together on stage with Randy Waller and the Country Gentlemen last year.
In 1984, our first album was released. It was a so called "maxi single" witch contained 6 tracks,. Two years ago, our first ( limited amount) cd came out, called "Back to Alabama". It contained 15 tracks and was sold out in less than no time. So the call came for a second cd. And we promised to work on a second cd And promises make debts. Well, here it is. Number two "The Sweetest Gift". Again 15 carefully selected tracks with old and new material. The Alabama Country Boys hope that you as listener, will have just as much fun listening to the music on this cd, as they have on their performances around the country.
